Four Models of Competencies in Human Resource Management

Abstract

The article analyzes the requirements of "competence" in each subsystem of human resource management that is based on the competencies model. For the sake of economy, we postulate the usage of four different models of competencies, because the needs for each HRM subsystem are substantially different. A precise competence concept is useful only in traditional compensation systems and selection. (original abstract)
