The Concept of Value Management as a New Approach in Higher Education Institution Management

Abstract
The article highlights the role and place of values in the modern organization management. Management, proceeding from a moral and ethical approach to the understanding of values, is defined as a type of management which pays due attention to the value systems of its subordinates and tries to take them into account in the decision-making process and the running of the organization. The author outlines the theoretical foundations of the value-oriented type of higher educational institutions management and presents the main conceptual provisions of its formation and development. Special attention is given to the role and place of values in the management of a modern organization, including ways in which the human values and organization in the corporate system mutually influence one another. A review of various studies has indicated that the definition and formation of values that employees personally embrace opens opportunities for effective cooperation in accordance with the organization's policy. It leads to an improvement in the quality of working life and the organization's competitiveness. The article also describes how to introduce values into the system of management of the higher education institution.(original abstract)Keywords:
