The Evolution of Education towards the Development of the Information Society

Abstract
Modern man is a part of the information society. In the long-lasting process of shaping an information society, education plays a key role. Very often education is supported by the available digital channels designed for the acquirement of knowledge. Modern education's transformation is being caused by the rapid development of ICT. This article presents the most important trends of transformations in the field of education, which is one of the pillars supporting the development of the information society.(original abstract)Keywords:
