Methodological Problems of Competencies' Assessment

Abstract
The paper discusses the methodological problems that the researcher can face when measures and reports competencies. The most common difficulties are: the differences in defining the term "competence", the various opinions on components of competencies, use of the similar names to describe different competencies, the problems that arise in the process of competencies' measurement, difficulties with anticipating of needed competencies and with assessing the effectiveness of competencies' development programs.
