Management, Motivation and Interaction in the Context of Remote Work

Abstract

The article investigates the phenomenon of remote work in Ukraine from the per- spective of employee management, employee motivation and interactions between employees. The author identifies various difficulties associated with remote work, especially in wartime, and offers practical tips for remote workers regarding time management, self-discipline and healthy self-care. Challenges associated with the management of remote workers are discussed on the basis of insights from a survey of employees of a scientific institution in Kiev who have been working remotely for more than 8 years. The author provides guidelines for how to build an effective management system for remote workers and how to facilitate employee interaction.(original abstract)
